Melody Order
Four two-bar fragments, shuffled. Tap them into the order that rebuilds one eight-bar tune in C major — it opens on the tonic, rests on the dominant halfway through, and closes back on the tonic.
Why this helps
- Phrase shape is a shape. A melody rises, rests and settles in a predictable way — spotting it is the fastest route to reading it fluently.
- The dominant is a question, the tonic is an answer. Working out which fragment "hangs" and which one resolves is real ear training wearing a puzzle's clothes.
