Staff Flashcards
A note appears on the stave — name it. Switch to Name the Interval for a pair of notes instead, pick treble or bass clef, and try the 60-second Sprint once you're feeling confident.
Why this helps
- Reading is its own skill. Naming a note or interval by ear and naming it on sight use different parts of your brain — this trains the sight-reading half directly.
- Ledger lines stop being scary. The more notes above and below the stave you meet, the less any single one of them throws you.
